The Concavenator is a carnivorous dinosaur that lived in Spain approximately 130 million years ago, during the Early Cretaceous period. About 6 meters long, it was distinguished by a unique dorsal hump formed by two elongated vertebrae.
Interestingly, fossil footprints suggest it had feather-like structures, reinforcing the link between dinosaurs and birds. Its mysterious dorsal hump still puzzles researchers, who see it as a means of communication or thermoregulation.
The Papo Concavenator figurine highlights this unique feature, with finely textured skin and a realistic posture. An ideal model to complete a dinosaur collection and relive the fascinating world of the Cretaceous.
