The Dilophosaurus is a carnivorous dinosaur that lived in North America approximately 190 million years ago, during the Early Jurassic period. It measured up to 6 meters long and was distinguished by two bony crests on the top of its skull, which gave it a unique appearance.
Interesting fact: contrary to what cinema depicts, the Dilophosaurus did not spit venom and did not possess a deployable frill. This popular image comes from its striking appearance in Jurassic Park, which made it famous worldwide.
The Papo Dilophosaurus figurine faithfully reproduces this iconic predator: characteristic crests, textured skin, and a dynamic pose. Ideal for completing a dinosaur collection, this figurine will appeal to children as well as collectors and paleontology enthusiasts.
