Cute and curious, the polar bear cub gradually discovers the icy expanses of the Arctic. At birth, it weighs only a small kilogram and remains huddled against its mother in the den for several months to protect itself from the extreme cold.
As it grows, it becomes more playful and learns to walk alongside its mother, who accompanies it in its first steps on the ice floe. Surprisingly, despite its small size, it is already covered in a thick insulating fur which, combined with a layer of subcutaneous fat, allows it to withstand the polar climate. Protected and nourished by its mother, it gradually acquires the necessary skills to survive in this hostile environment.
This Papo figurine tenderly depicts the walking polar bear cub: detailed white fur, round silhouette, and lively posture. An ideal model to complete a wild animal collection, invent stories about the ice floe, or raise children's awareness of endangered species.
