Fawn Figurine

Tender and discreet, the fawn is the offspring of a stag and a hind. At birth, it has a light brown coat adorned with small white spots that allow it to camouflage itself in the tall grass of the forest. This juvenile coat gradually disappears as it grows.

During the first few weeks, the fawn remains hidden on the ground, motionless, to escape predators, while its mother regularly returns to nurse it. A surprising fact: despite its apparent fragility, it is able to stand and walk just a few hours after birth. Gradually, it gains strength and learns to follow the herd into the undergrowth.
