Arthur, son of the great King Uther Pendragon and Igraine of Cornwall, was raised as a knight by Merlin. It was only after his father's death, and after he drew the legendary sword Excalibur from its stone, that he ascended to the throne. Accompanied by the Knights of the Round Table, he would lead the most difficult quest in his history: the Quest for the Holy Grail.
