The young Triceratops lived alongside its parents approximately 66 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous period. Smaller than an adult, it was already recognizable by its frill and characteristic small horns.
Interesting fact: fossils suggest that the young stayed in groups, protected by the adults. They learned very early to use their horns for defense.
The Papo Young Triceratops figurine captures all the tenderness and realism of this young dinosaur: textured skin, nascent horns, and a natural posture. An ideal model to complete a dinosaur collection and travel to the heart of prehistory.
