The Parasaurolophus is a large herbivorous dinosaur that lived in North America approximately 76 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous period. It could reach up to 10 meters in length and is distinguished by its long, hollow crest curving backward.
Interesting fact: this crest was likely used to emit low-frequency sounds for long-distance communication, as well as to impress rivals or attract mates. Its unique silhouette has made it one of the most famous hadrosaurs.
The Papo Parasaurolophus figurine faithfully reproduces this spectacular dinosaur: long crest, textured skin, and realistic posture. An ideal model to complete a dinosaur collection and journey into the heart of prehistory.
