The Pentaceratops is an herbivorous dinosaur that lived in North America approximately 75 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous period. It could reach up to 8 meters in length and was recognizable by its large frill and five horns.
Interesting fact: its wide frill likely served as a defense mechanism against predators, but also to attract attention during mating displays. Its spectacular horns made it one of the most impressive ceratopsians.
The Papo Pentaceratops figurine faithfully reproduces this majestic dinosaur: decorated frill, textured skin, and powerful appearance. An ideal model to complete a dinosaur collection and journey back to the heart of prehistory.
