The Therizinosaurus is an astonishing dinosaur that lived in Asia approximately 70 million years ago, during the late Cretaceous period. Despite being a theropod, it was an herbivore, measuring up to 10 meters long and possessing immense curved claws over a meter in length.
Interestingly, its claws were probably used to reach vegetation, but could also intimidate its opponents. Having become even more famous thanks to its striking appearance in Jurassic World: Dominion, it is now among the iconic dinosaurs.
